QPSS 2017
THEME: COMMITMENT:THE PATH TO PROCESS SAFETY EXCELLENCE
The 8th Qatar Process Safety Symposium (QPSS) was held on 10th and 11th April 2017 at the Hilton Hotel, Doha, Qatar. The theme of 2017 QPSS Edition was “Commitment: The path to Process Safety Excellence”. During the conference, TAMUQ and ConocoPhillips renewed their Memorandum of Understanding to officiate their collaboration for the next 5 years.
The event attracted more than 250 delegates. 24 international and local speakers from several different companies came together to discuss crucial topics around the theme.
During the event, keynote lectures were given by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada, Ministry of Energy and Industry and Chairman of the Board of Qatar Petroleum, and His Excellency Dr. Ali Al-Mulla, Assistant Secretary General for Industrial Projects Sector, Gulf Organization for Industrial Consulting.
The symposium provided excellent networking opportunities for delegates from industry, regulatory institutions and academia.
